Mr. Krusa served as a distinguished professor for the GAIT program. He taught the junior and senior seminar courses as well as Graphic Communications I. For the students enrolled in his classes, he shared his experiences as an executive with PBM Graphics and Fisher-Harrison, major printing companies.

Glenn Thore, a member of the GAIT Advisory Board, spoke of Peter’s time as the distinguished professor. Following Glenn’s remarks, a drawing was held to raise money for the Peter Krusa Scholarship Foundation. Items such as a picture taken by Peter of a Belews Lake sunset, water skis that were donated by the Carolina Marina as well as other prizes.

There was a great deal of excitement as a signed photograph of Armanti Edwards (GAIT Alum ’09) and his Panther’s team shirt (number 10, (also signed by Armanti) was one of the premium awards for the fundraiser. From their efforts, $10,000 was raised for the scholarship.
